Covid-19 Return to Play policies

All sports operations will be conducted to follow the most current guidelines established by the State of New Hampshire as they pertain to Amateur & Youth Sports. These guidelines have been updated/revised by the State every few days since they were published. You may view the most up-to-date guidelines by which we will be basing our operations by clicking HERE.

Here are some of the main guidelines that we ask participants and teams to keep in mind:

  • All staff, attendees, coaches, and players should bring to sporting events and wear reusable/washable cloth face coverings over their nose and mouth when around others and not actively engaged in athletics and when social distancing is difficult to maintain. If players choose to wear face coverings while playing, it is recommended that they use the type of face covering that loops around the ears (rather than the type that fastens around the head).
  • In an effort to establish one-way flow of traffic through our building and minimize congestion, there will be a specially designated “Entrance Only” entryway. This entryway will be used for entering the facility only. We will clearly mark directions above and below each doorway. We also recommend the social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC in all areas.
  • In an effort to minimize congestion at the fields, we recommend attendees, coaches, and players arrive as closely as possible to the start of their game time and leave promptly when your game ends.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be located throughout the fields. All attendees, coaches, and players are encouraged to frequently sanitize as appropriate.
  • All bench areas will be set up to strongly encourage social distancing and maintain space.
  • We recommend that coaches and teams carry hand sanitizer with team equipment and that players carry hand sanitizer in their personal equipment bag to use as appropriate.
  • We recommend that players bring their own water bottles. No sharing or common use water bottles should be allowed.
  • Lastly, we will meet with each coach with specifically designed drills to encourage limited contact and ensure they understand our guidelines.

As is the case with everywhere you go, please stay home if you feel sick, wash your hands often, cover your coughs and sneezes, and maintain social distancing when possible to do so.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our facility!

Sincerely,

Manchester South Junior Soccer League
